AUGUST 25, 2006 The annual New Student Convocation is designed for newly admitted students to the university. It is the official university welcome where students are greeted by the university President, Academic Deans, University Administrators, Staff and Faculty. The Office of the President and the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students sponsors the New Student Convocation. This year's event will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Satellite Student Union. A reception immediately following the ceremony will be held at University Courtyard and offers you the opportunity to meet President Welty, the Vice Presidents, College Deans and faculty members.
