HISPANIC BUSINESS STUDENTS ASSOCIATION:
(October, 1972) To increase enrollment of Chicano students in the School of Business; to
develop and assist programs for economic development within the various Chicano
communities and to increase the number of Chicano managers and entrepreneurs in business.
HISPANIC
SCHOLARSHIP FUND:
(August, 2003) To help students leverage existing resources to attain
their chosen degree, develop the pre-professional skills needed after
graduation, and serve as mentors and peer resources to younger students;
to encourage students to assume roles of leadership in the public and
private sectors by preparing them with academic, entrepreneurial, and
organizational skills.
HISTORY GRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION:
(October, 2000) To promote collegiality among History Graduate
Students and provide supportive environment and professional
opportunities.
HMONG STUDENT ASSOCIATION:
(November, 1984) To assist Hmong students to adjust and participate fully in university
life through orientations, to encourage Hmong students to attend or continue college for
their higher education.
HORTICULTURE CLUB:
(February, 1962) To promote aims and interests of Ornamental Horticulture.
HUA REN STUDENT
ASSOCIATION:
(September, 2006) To promote understanding between hua ren from
different cultures around the world; to introduce these cultures to those
interested in learning more about the history and culture of hua ren.
Hua ren = anyone whose ancestors live/lived in what is/was historically
known as China.
HUMAN POWERED VEHICLE:
(December, 2006) To develop mechanical engineering students in the
aspects of design, teamwork, and fabrication of a human powered vehicle.
