BUDDHIST STUDENTS FOR PEACE THROUGH DIALOGUE:
(January, 2004) To provide the opportunity for the members to learn
about Humanism, Buddhism, and the Soka Gakkai International movement;
create an environment of understanding and mutual respect; invite faith
leaders to provide interfaith perspectives; celebrate the religious
diversity of students; and not to convert, instead to encourage and
promote the understanding of humanity's interconnectedness and shared
responsibility to assist each other in creating values consistent with
the SGI.
CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR
CHRIST:
(November, 1969) To foster a knowledge of Jesus Christ and Biblical
Christianity among the students of Fresno State.
CATHOLIC STUDENTS
ASSOCIATION:
(September, 1962) To provide for the spiritual and intellectual
advancement of its members.
CENTRAL VALLEY VERITAS:
(March, 2004) To bring the campus community together; to consider
and discuss Truth in all of its forms; in light of the existence of the
living God, Jesus Christ.
FELLOWSHIP
OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES:
(December, 2006) To present to athletes and coaches and all whom
they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as
Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the
fellowship of the church.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN STUDENTS:
(April, 1993) To provide students the opportunity for advancement in
all facet's of their Christian life while they are attending Fresno
State. The organization will work to provide encouragement and support
for students to increase their faith in Christ, and their knowledge of
the Bible, and uplift their testimony before fellow students.
FRESNO CAMPUS BLESSING CLUB:
(October, 1977)
To welcome new students in joining this warm and
family-oriented organization. To introduce Christianity as a
lifestyle; to assist new international students on overcoming cultural
shock so that they can adapt better to American culture and society; to
motivate one's self-improvement, scholastic excellence, and the
cultivation of civic responsibility; and to provide teaching assistance.
INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN
FELLOWSHIP:
(September, 1962) To witness to the Lord Jesus Christ as God incarnate
and to lead others to a personal faith in Him as Savior; to deepen and
strengthen the spiritual life of members by the study of the Bible and
by prayer.
LUTHERAN CAMPUS MINISTRY:
(April, 1997) To provide students with opportunities for the development
of their spiritual and religious life. These opportunities include
fellowship; service and educational activities designed to enhance the
faith and life of the student.
MISSIONARY BAPTIST STUDENT FELLOWSHIP:
(October, 2005) To encourage the
integration of spiritual and scholastic development among Missionary
Baptist Students and all those seeking God's best in their lives.
MUSLIM STUDENTS ASSOCIATION:
(December, 1972) To help Muslim students on this campus carry out
Islamic activities in pursuance of Islam as a complete way of life.
NEXT EXIT:
(November, 2001) To provide students interaction with Christian
principles and ideas, and a setting where they can share these ideas
with other students.
REVOLUTION:
(September, 2004) To initiate and develop discipleship relationships
with Jesus among the students and community of California State
University, Fresno.
SOUTHEAST ASIAN CHRISTIAN
FELLOWSHIP:
(April, 1986) To reach South Asian students with the Gospel through
organizing student fellowship on campus.
THE
ROCK COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP:
(November, 2005) To provide
students with an opportunity to interact with Christian principles and
ideas, and to provide a setting where they can share these ideas with
others.
