INTRAMURALS/RECREATION

Your mind isn’t the only thing that gets a workout on this campus! Funded by Associated Student fees and the University, the Intramurals/Recreation program is designed to serve the social, recreational, and physical fitness needs of Fresno State students. Intramurals/Recreation also serves the campus staff and faculty. Any Fresno State student with their I.D. card, who has a desire to have fun, meet people, exercise, compete and better themselves, may participate. Additionally, current Fresno State faculty and staff may participate by purchasing a Intramurals/Recreation membership card in the North Gym, Room 109.

A full range of intramural sports are offered to supplement your academic workouts.  Exercise, the fun of learning a new sport or activity, joining friends on a team, or just hanging out by the pool, will all expand your leisure pursuits and life skills.

Positive habits will be developed so that physical well-being becomes part of your overall college experience and beyond. Fall intramural sports include:  flag football, soccer, team tennis, and volleyball.  Spring sports include basketball, softball, ultimate Frisbee and water polo.  An indoor pool is available for recreational use.
