The Math remediation requirement must be completed within your first year at Fresno State.

 

You can complete your remediation requirement by successfully completing either Math 1RA/1RB or Math 4R. Review your ELM score to ensure that you have been placed in the proper remedial math course.

Math Courses

 A passing score for the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) exam is defined as a minimum score of 50. If you scored less than 50, you must successfully complete the necessary remedial course(s) before taking the General Education Quantitative Reasoning (B4) requirement. You must take and pass the remedial course(s) within your first two semesters in order to continue courses at Fresno State.
