Advising and Schedule Planning

The ILE Program provides academic advising to ILE eligible students.  Advisors can assist you in developing a course schedule that meets remedial requirements, is balanced between difficult and not-so-difficult courses, and directs you in meeting graduation requirements of the university.

Study Areas and Tutoring

ILE students are encouraged to utilize the Learning Resource Center for dedicated study space.  Research indicates that students who schedule study time in a consistent environment at a consistent time help them be more academically successful.  Tutoring is available at no cost through the Learning Resource Center in various subjects and courses at Fresno State.  ILE Outreach Assistants work to assist our students in finding a tutor and time that meets the students’ needs.

PowerLearn

ILE students are encouraged to participate in PowerLearn.  This program is available on a limited basis and is aimed at providing you with skills, supplies, and the confidence to continue your Fresno State experience on the right track. PowerLearn students participate in a series of academic related workshops and tutoring program.
