The goal of the program is to academically prepare and motivate Mendota School District students to enter and successfully pursue postsecondary educational options upon graduation from high school.

GEAR-UP participants, along with parents, teachers, and volunteers at McCabe Jr. High will receive a combination of the following services:

Tutoring
Mentoring
College prep
Parent Training
Teacher Training
Financial aid information
College campus field trips
Summer enrichment program
Academic assessment and planning
Career exploration and assessment
Enrollment in college preparatory classes
